I have finally finished sorting, cataloguing, processing and uploading all the images from the 2012 Tasmanian Dancesport Championships.
The Championships were held at the Launceston Silverdome and were a fantastic and spectacular event with dancers of all ages and abilities.
There are nearly 100 galleries of images from the Championships from all the events including the images from the Showcase events featuring Carmelo Pizzino and Alana Patience both world class dancers and Dancing With the Stars television show.
There are over 3,700 images from all events and these are accessible from either clicking the image above or the Events link on the side menu and then navigating to the 2012 Dancesport Tasmania link under the Galleries menu. Please feel free to have a good look around and if you like any of the images you can purchase them for a small fee.
My apologies to any dancers that I have missed and I am sure there would be a few as photographing dancers with varying lighting conditions and the speed of some of the dancers is certainly challenging.
I don’t use any artificial flash as I believe this compromises the quality of the image apart from annoying the dancers. This makes getting decent shots even harder and processing longer but I believe the end result is worth it. – Enjoy
